Our ideas are constantly evolving; but as a basis we aim to challenge the existing power structures within sailing (and the world) in terms of race/gender/social class.

Sharing skills and learning from one another is one of the most important factors. From repairing a plank to cooking a meal for 10 in a force 6. Hoisting a sail to speaking another language or reading charts

at night.

We aim to have times to sail and work without cis men, and keep the gender balanced at all times within the crew.

 

If we effectively pass on knowledge in both day to day situations and

in workshops, we can continue to share responsibility on the boat and break down dominant heirarchies.

Hoping to create an example that can have an effect within a wider context.
